Based on a walking-stick flute at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Fife model is in B-flat, after the Cloos, and the Flute model is in D, the same as our concert-pitch keyless flute. They are about 36 inches in length and are available in Rosewood or Maple.

Block-mounted nickle-silver keys (B-flat, C, G-sharp, F, long F, and D-sharp) are influenced by Prowse, and Rudall & Rose; the bore and embouchure, similar to Boosey-Pratten, make it easy to play low D to high B with an excellent full tone throughout.
